Denmark goes green

renewable energy sources wind energy in denmark

The Scandinavian country last year has produced 42 % of the Danes’ electricity consumption from wind turbines, which is the highest noticed figure so far worldwide.

Denmark is reducing it’s ecological footprint consciously by developing  ambitious green policies with a high proportion of wind energy and other renewable energy sources. As a result they have almost doubled the wind power share of power consumption in the country since 2010.

Sustainable development is a social issue as well: Danes are on their way to eliminate food waste and to introduce their first zero-packaging store in the capital.
