Life satisfaction in EU

Life Satisfaction Index in Europe by Eurostat with Scandinavia at the top

Eurostat has released a research representing how satisfied Europeans are with their life in each country.

All age groups in Denmark gave an average answer of 8.0, and ranked on the top along with Sweden, Finland and Switzerland indicating high work-life balance in the mentioned countries.

Life satisfaction consists of several aspects, however the Nordic welfare model is claimed to have a significant role in the high satisfaction among elderly Danes, who gave an average answer of 8.6, making them the most contented Europeans.
